Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Darkest Hour

'The Darkest Hour' is directed by Chris Gorak and released in 2011. It is an American and Russian combined science fiction production based on alien invasions. American students Ben and Sean (Max Minghella and Emile Hirsch) now at Moscow to sell their unique software. But their Swedish business partner Skyler (Joel Kinnaman), has sold them already. They get to a nightclub disappointed. In here they ran into an American girl Natalie and an Australian girl Anne. Suddenly, the electricity is gone. They get outside. Their phones are all dead. They see bright lights coming down from the night sky. As them touches the ground the lights become vanished. A police officer approaches to touch the thing and he turns into ashes. Everybody takes off running as alien attack begins. When they four discover a bunker to hide, their betrayal friend Skyler comes for help. In the middle of the movie, Skyler saves them all by giving up his own life. Ben finds out a secret to destroy the alien's protective layer around their bodies. He finds a weapon which can do that. At the conclusion only Ben and Natalie, the Americans survive. They are heading to their home United States, to save them all after they are rescued by a Russian submarine.

Best part of story, including ending: A new and different alien invasion story. The science fiction movie is well directed. I like the picture, because it reveals what to do when it is necessary if an alien invasion occurs.

Best scene in story: At the conclusion of the movie, when Ben is stuck in a train line and an alien is coming towards him. But Ben is able to move his weapon and destroys it.

Opinion about the main character: Ben has just been betrayed by his Swedish partner. And even so he provided mercy and delivered him and let him walk with his squad. He also acted bravely and with courage when it's called for.
