This film is composed of three unrelated plotlines. In one, a scientist synthesizes a formula for human sexuality, but upon drinking it becomes a leper. Another plotline follows Richie Beacon, a seven-year-old boy who shoots his father and then disappears. The last story is about a man who has become obsessed with a boy he saw humiliated at reform school, and takes place when the men are reunited in prison.
