Matthew Perry of "Friends" fame, plays Joe Tyler, a process server, a one time lawyer. He works with another man who compete to see who can get his papers served faster and in fewer days. A very important client needs divorce papers served on his ex-wife to be, played by Elizabeth Hurley. Instead he ends up making a deal with her to serve papers on her husband first, so that she can get a better settlement. After all, the man is a multi-millionaire. Cedric the Entertainer plays his boss and Bruce Campbel, is the jerky millionaire. During the rest of the story Joe and Sara try to track down the elusive millionaire to serve him first.
