From that moment on, Kevin is stalked by the mysterious caller who seems to be obsessed with explosives, the number 3, and Kevin's past, in which, he insists, some crime has taken place. Jennifer, a police investigator who has recently lost her brother in a similar car explosion, rushes to Kevin as soon as she hears about the case. It appears that the same criminal is at work here, the so called RK – Riddle Killer. He keeps calling Kevin and making him solve riddles, all of them involving the number 3; in each case, an innocent life will be taken if Kevin fails. And the original demand is still in force: Kevin must publicly confess his crime.

Together with Samantha, his childhood friend, Kevin is racing against time to save these lives. At a certain point, he figures out who is stalking him. Back when he was a boy, he used to be bullied by a bigger kid, a mean fellow whom he and Samantha occasionally met in the park. Once, Kevin caught that boy peeking into Samantha's window and tried to chase him away; instead, he ended up being chased himself. On another occasion, the bully cornered him in an old, abandoned warehouse and threatened to kill him. Kevin managed to hit the bully in the head and run out, locking the door behind him. He never went back; he'd left the bully to die.

Obviously, the big kid did get out, and now is stalking Kevin. Kevin calls a news program and tells this old story, live, but the stalker is not satisfied. He keeps playing his game, setting up bombs, leaving notes and threats. One day, Samantha picks up one of these notes in Kevin's apartment and compares it to the handwriting of a report Kevin is doing for his college. The result shocks her: the hand is the same. She grabs the phone and calls Jennifer, telling her the impossible guess: Kevin might have split personality, and he is both the victim and the stalker. Meanwhile, Kevin runs off to save yet another innocent life… or to set more bombs?
