Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Alpha Dog

Johnny, is the temperamental leader of a drug dealing gang in California. When one of his dealers Jake owes him money, he orders his boys Frankie and TKO to kidnap Jake's younger half-brother Zach. Zach, who idolizes his older brother, welcomes the ordeal as a chance to be "in" with his brother's gang. Frankie keeps him in his house, and they become friends. Soon, Zach gets to party with the "wild" kids, and even has a threesome with pretty girls, in short, he is having a great time. Meanwhile, Johnny, wanting no lose ends, orders Elvis, another guy who owes him money, to kill Zach. Frankie doesn't want Zach killed, but is under pressure from Johnny. When it's finally decided, an oblivious Zach is brought by the gangmembers to a dug up grave and is hit by a shovel and shot by Elvis. The crime hits the headlines, with Zach's body being found after three days. Everybody except Johnny is caught and sentenced. Johnny is on the run, aided by his dad's mafia ties.

Best part of story, including ending: It's a gritty look at how teens nonchalantly enter lives of crime and how they succumb to peer pressure.

Best scene in story: When Zach blindly believes that this kind of life is what's perfect for him.

Opinion about the main character: Johnny is power-hungry and over-zealous, to a fault.
