This story is about a retired drug baron who falls in love with a church girl and has to balance between his friends who are still in the drugs business, his relationship with Vanessa and his religion. Miles Montego ("Ja rule" Atkins) is a retired drug baron who is still under close scrutiny from authorities. He is trying all he can to live right but his closest friends are still in the drugs business and this makes him a suspect too.

Miles meets and falls in love with Vanessa, a girl brought up in a christian family and dedicated to her faith. These two have so many differences but they manage to work them out, only that Vanessa's mother does not approve the relationship. Miles' mother on the other hand is glad that her son has found a decent lady and in her death bed requests Vanessa to stay by her son. Miles manages to attend church services and his turning point in life comes after Vanessa is involved in a serious accident that leaves her in a coma for days. He ends up on his knees praying for God to bring Vanessa back. His friends are arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Best part of story, including ending:
I like this story because it shows that life has a second chance to offer
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene is when Miles is in church complaining then he calms down and begins to pray soberly and this is becomes his turning point
Opinion about the main character:
I like the fact that Miles makes a decision to quit crime and he maintains his stand
