This is a story about two men who have a relationship while not knowing they are in danger. Chris is living together with his friend Jenny who is a lesbian and is engage to a woman named Rebecca. Chris and Jenny have been pretending to be engage together because Jenny is in the Navy and does not want to come out as a lesbian yet. Chris drops off Jenny at Rebecca's home and promises to pick her up at midnight. Chris then goes to a club one night and encounters Ian. Ian and Chris make conversation and suggests to Chris why don't they go to a bar instead. Chris doesn't want to go because of his appearance people will be able to notice he is gay but Ian tells Chris he will protect him. They go the bar and have a drink but one of the males there notices that Chris is gay and tries to pick a fight with but Ian ends up beating the guy up. The bartender tells Ian he is no longer allowed in there but Ian doesn't pay it any mind and leaves. They go to Ian's house where they have sex and afterwards Chris tells Ian he has to pick up his fiancee. Ian then decides Chris is another closeted gay male and wants nothing to do with him but will take him back to his car. Chris wanted to tell Ian the truth but decided it is not his secret to tell he just catches a cab. Meanwhile days after Chris begins getting threatening messages and thinks it is Ian and goes to Ian's home and accuses him but Ian says it was not him and Chris apologizes for accusing him and then leaves. Chris and Ian find themselves on the same plane leaving weeks later. They talk and make conversation they still feel desire for one another but don't act upon the plane crashes and is not found till the next day. Chris was going to do a book signing and Ian was going to babysit his nephew for his brother. At Chris's book signing he almost get shot but Ian shows up and protects him. They do to Chris's hotel room and make love again. And there is when Ian learns that Jenny is not really his fiancee and she is a lesbian. When they both get back home they begin a relationship. Chris has not been honest with Ian about everything and starts to feel guilty for it. When Ian comes over for dinner with Chris and Jenny Ian discovers how Chris lied about his family and ends there relationship. Chris gets into a deep depressing and Jenny decides to talk to Ian about it. Jenny tells Ian she is also to blame because she wanted Chris to lie about them being together but she is worried about Chris because he is very depress. Chris gets a message from someone that tried to killing to show up because they have Jenny. Chris goes and learns its a female who was sending him those messages but then she is killed by two men and Chris is taken hostage when Ian goes to take to Chris he sees Chris car and is taken Hostage as well but together they manage to escape and go into a cave but are track down but Chris manage to slip out and locate help but is unconscious because he was shot. The police were inform and were able to rescue Ian and they found Chris. Chris was taken to the hospital. When Chris gets better Jenny tell Chris no longer to lie for her and Jenny moves in with her girlfriend and Chris and Ian move in together happier then ever.

Best scene in story: My favorite is the ending where Ian and Chris live together and are happy with each other because I really think they are good together.

Opinion about the main character: I don't like Chris because he feel like he has to create two many different versions of himself.
