Dale Brown's Dreamland Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Dale Brown's Dreamland

In this exciting first novel in a new series Colonel Tecumseh 'Dog' Bastian is assigned by the White House to get Dreamland, the secret base at Nevada's Groom Lake(Area 51), back into shape or else defence budget cuts will force the place to close. The first half of the book deals with experimenting on new weapons systems, in particular unmanned aerial vehicles and also development of the EB-52 Megafortress, another old favourite. New characters meet the familiar ones, making this a great compliment to Brown's timeline. The second half details the use of the new technology in diffusing a conflict in Somalia and Iran, and the rescue of US Marines taken hostage by Arab terrorists working for Iran.
