Gabriel's Gift Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Gabriel's Gift

Sarah Jacobson couldn't help feeling like the Grinch this Christmas. While everyone else was bustling around in the cold winter weather, happily purchasing gifts for loved ones and planning a family feast, Sarah was looking forward to just another normal day at home by herself. Ever since her parents died, there were no more family Christmases to look forward to. Her perfect older brother grudgingly invited her to join them, but Sarah knew that she wasn't wanted and would rather stay in the small Midwestern town where she taught English at the local high school. Still, just because she wasn't celebrating didn't mean that her fellow teachers and casual friends weren't.

Duty drove her to the mall to pick up some last minute Christmas gifts for those who had tried to befriend her over the last two years. On her way into the mall, Sarah was saddened to see yet another beggar at the door, asking for hand outs. But when Sarah read his sign, reading “Help an Alien Get Home for Christmas,” she was stunned. Outraged that this man would make fun of those who were less fortunate, she tried to shame him into leaving, but what she didn't know is that the man holding the sign really was an alien. Sarbal cri Rabor thought that Sarah looked delicious in her outrage and kept teasing her until she gave him a dollar and then he disappeared. Shrugging off the whole bizarre episode, Sarah bought her gifts and left – only to dream of him that night and every night after that. By giving Sarbal a gift, her dollar, she had created a bond between them, a bond that enabled Sarbal to start sending images into her mind.

Sarah rather enjoyed the fantasies until she ran into Sarbal at the ice skating rink and he started sending her erotic images of herself skating naked in the snow. Her composure completely shattered, Sarah barely made it to a nearby bench before she collapsed, something which amazed Sarbal. Even though he had visited Earth several times, he never got used to how little sexual energy it took to send the fragile humans over the edge. Still, he was a patient man and was more than happy to train her in the ways of his people, step by erotic step...
