Nancy Stern is a preschool teacher whose personal life is in a rut. Things start to look up when she gets a bouquet from an unknown admirer. Then she learns that another woman named Nancy Stern, a beautiful celebrity journalist has moved in upstairs, and the flowers are for her. Against her better judgement, preschool Nancy accepts a blind date that she knows is for the other Nancy, and falls for the guy, Bill Harris. But when the glamourous Nancy turns up dead, preschool Nancy learns that Bill is actually a police officer who was sent to investigate her beautiful neighbor. Then Nancy realizes that the killer made a mistake, and she was the real target, not her neighbor. With her life in langer, Nancy and Bill must discover who wants to kill Nancy and why.
