Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Before I Go To Sleep

Plot Summary Part 2

Had she been banged by other men?

Later, Ben boned her again, first grabbing Christine by the pussy and making her moan. But while Ben is boning her she gets a memory of being strangled in a hotel room. Christine cried out in distressed just as Ben was squirting her with his sperm. Christine clung to him tightly. She liked it, heh heh.

So twice now when Ben boned her, Christine got memories of another guy and being assaulted in a hotel room. Probably she should ask for more sex from Ben to help her remember things better!

Christine calls Dr. Nash at home to ask his thoughts on this but Dr. Nash is busy banging Mrs. Nash and tells Christine to call back another time. Everyone is having sex in this book!

Dr. Nash tells Christine that it wasn't a car accident that caused her memory loss, as Ben said, but being attacked in a hotel and had banged her head. Once again Christine wonders if Ben is being kind because he wants to shield the unpleasant memory of being attacked, or if Ben is being bad for not telling her what is really going on.

Christine also learns that after the attack, she was locked in an insane asylum for seven years because she was a retard.

Christine doesn't know if Ben is being kind or evil. Therefore, she decides to tell Ben she is writing her journal, which she has kept a secret from him. This makes absolutely no sense. If Ben is evil, he will take away her journal and she will have no memory of anything she's learned. She'll be completely helpless. Since Christine doesn't really know if she can trust Ben, this makes no sense.

Christine realizes that she is starting to be able to remember things, a little bit, from day to day. For example, Dr. Nash used to have to call her in the morning to tell her where her journal was. Now Christine instinctively knows to go looking for it and where to find it, though she doesn't remember what's in it. Over time she starts to remember other things as well from previous days.

Christine had a friend named Claire. Ben told her that Claire moved to New Zealand and is unreachable.

Dr. Nash tells Christine that she and Ben are divorced, that he left her after she got locked in the insane asylum.

Christine thinks there's a connection. She thinks Ben was boning Claire.

Then Christine kisses Dr. Nash. She tells him she loves him. Dr. Nash calls her a retard, but in a nice way. He doesn't want to bone her.

Christine finds out that Claire isn't in New Zealand, that Ben lied to her. Claire lives just a few miles away.

Christine tells Ben that she knows that Claire isn't in New Zealand. Ben said that he kept Claire from Christine because Claire abandoned Christine, refusing to visit her in the insane asylum, and he wanted to keep Christine from the pain of knowing her friend abandoned her.

Christine asks if they are divorced. Ben admits that they are, but says that he never divorced her in his heart. Heh heh heh. He only divorced her legally. Hahahahahahaha. Sorry, I'm laughing so hard as I type this!

Ok, I'm better now.

Christine forgives him, because after all it was only a legal divorce, not a divorce from the heart. Are you following any of this? No? Good!

Christine meets with Claire. Claire tells her that she, Christine, was having an affair with another man. Claire didn't know his name. She met the guy at a hotel and he nearly killed her. When Ben found out Christine was nearly killed being boned by another guy, he was angry, but he forgave her, given that she was barely alive and basically a retard.

Then Claire admits that she used to get boned by Ben as well. It seems everyone in this book has been boned by everyone else. Claire says that it was sympathy sex after Christine became a retard in the insane asylum, so not a big deal!

Claire gives Christine an old letter from Ben.
