Chase posts on 6/1/2005 1:46:42 PM I think the Narnia movie coming out this summer will be excellent and I look forward to seeing it, but has anyone heard of the radio theatre version? A team of producers spent six years creating audio dramas of all seven 'Chronicles of Narnia'. They get dozens of actors together to record different characters, a composer does an original music score, then they add some sweet sound effects. The combination of the voices, music and sound design is a rather interesting experience. Because they stayed so close to the books, I think Narnia fans should really check out these authentic versions of C.S. Lewis' work before going to see the Walden/Disney film. ~Chase
ed posts on 5/23/2005 2:50:59 PM This movie is about the relentless chase thru Africa of one white man by 5 or 6 natives, and how he defeats his chasers, ono-by-one. The movie concludes as the chased man arrives at a colonial fort whereupon the soldiers drive away his pursuers with gunfire. Don't know the actor(s)????

Edmund Hiller posts on 5/2/2005 12:09:34 PM How strange that there are every DVD out in marketing (many of gastly topic nature)and very few on the magnificent career of the English actress Deborah Kerr . . . Bring back THE LIFE AND DEATH OF COL. BLIMP, EDWARD, MY SON, THE ADVENTURESS, MAJOR BARBARA, KING SOLOMON'S MINES,- if only for the splendor of the film - SEPARATE TABLES, THE JOURNEY or THE SUNDOWNERS !
DREW posts on 3/7/2005 7:21:20 PM The coal mine that it was set in used to be owned by my great grandparents and that is the movie you were thinking of.
