Isaac Asimov Message Board

Aaron posts on 11/19/2012 5:01:15 PM If you have any respect for your readers you will remove the last couple sentences of the "Foundation and Empire" summary. You were not even considerate enough to warn of spoilers. And in the course of two small sentences you have ruined the 3rd book of the trilogy for prospective readers by blatantly spelling out the location of the second Foundation. This is a book summary for the second book in the series, not the 3rd. I don't care how relevant you thought that detail was. It was opinion, and had no place in that summary. Get your act together and have a care!

Debbie posts on 2/7/2011 1:06:54 PM Hello! the last time I read Isaac Asimov was in 2001 and there is a short story I'm trying to remember the title of- the plot: a scientist builds a robot and is too shy to tell the woman he loves that he loves her; the robot calls the woman on the phone when the scientist is not around, and arranges for the woman and scientist to go on a date. Do you have any ideas for which of his stories this may be? Thanks in advance!
Barry Jones posts on 1/20/2009 4:18:01 PM I this supposed to be a review? Reviews I'm familiar with provide a critique of the author and their material. This was just a few paragraphs about the story. Useless.
annonymus posts on 12/9/2007 9:57:29 PM im doing a power point research presentation for my english project and i also had to read a book of his (I,Robot), i personally didnt like his books very much. his 3 laws were great but the over all book i thought wasnt very good because in I,Robot it was just composed of many short stories and in which you never get to know your main character(or any character in that case) very well. without being able 2 know much about ur character it makes the story less interesting, more confusing, and very boring to read...
