I am 100 pages into DRAGON'S HEART, the fourth b ook, and it is my major work this summer while I am in Scotland. Hope to finish it by fall. At least a first draft.
You can follow my progress at my website's journal.
There is no sequel (yet) to SWORD OF THE RIGHTFUL KING but if I ever write one (and the editor wants one) it will be about Gawan and his awful Mother.

how does jane yolen make use of the fairytale genre to create "...the tale anew, in a modern form for modern readers"?

Does anyone know when it is coming out? I checked the first publishing date of a sending of dragons and it is from like 1987! So either Jane only decided to continue writing the trilogy recently or... I don't know what.

I've enjoyed this triligy a lot. It also would be good to know what happens when they return to the nursery and everyone sees that they aren't dead. All of these changes affected how they acted. What happens to the rebels that ran away? Were Jakkin and Akki's secret discovered? And what happened to the cave people?
also the dragons? This is why I ask you, Jane Yolen, please make the triligy longer Ireally enjoyed these books. My friend said it wasn't good , but i think it is the best one ever.Nothing comes up better than this.
