posts on 8/28/2006 7:57:15 AM Gandelf is quite cool, I named my tabby cat Gandelf, lol. Well, in the books my favourite character is Legolas, but the films are different.
posts on 8/27/2006 8:38:10 PM i LOOOOVE Gandalf! But I love Legolas...that was before Orlando Bloom got famous and such. But he is a beautiful elf, no doubt
posts on 8/27/2006 3:07:44 PM I dont mean just Sam,lol. Its just we were talking about just sam and frodo.

posts on 8/27/2006 1:51:55 PM Yah but what about gandalf he actually plays a huge part in the stories
posts on 8/27/2006 11:17:20 AM In the films Sam is actually an american actor but he does a very good wiltshire/farmer accent, lol. Sometimes it lapses a bit though. You're right, Sam is the one who should be being cheered, I give Frodo his due, but, I think Sam has done a lot too and has erned his 'fame' just as much as Frodo.
posts on 8/26/2006 9:57:55 PM I know; in books & movies, and in real life, those who deserve true credit are rarely acknowledged; people are too focused on one main "hero"...as if they can't believe that the "hero" had a lot of help from some minor person. Please!
posts on 8/26/2006 9:44:38 PM What I thought was kinda weird, was when everyone was at war, and suddenly the great "eye" falls, they yell out "Frodo!" as a kind of cheer, but what about Sam? Without Sam, Frodo would have died a thousand deaths! lol.
posts on 8/26/2006 9:03:32 PM Frodo was a whimp at times, yes, but luckily Samwise was always there to reinforce the strength within him. Sam is the one with real bravery, and that is a fact. Without Sam, Frodo would have given in to the power of the Ring before they even reached Rivendell. But that would not have been as good of a story, now, would it?
posts on 8/26/2006 3:42:11 PM Alot of people don't know this but Sam and Legolas and gimily followed to the anchant west after the last ship
posts on 8/22/2006 11:16:09 AM Yeah, but I don't see why he didn't choose just to stay in the Shire. I mean, if he stayed long enough, he would've gotten used to it again, and being surrounded by his friends should have made him happy. Anyway, I realize that the ring took his "self" away, but I didn't like the way they made it because he seemed so...depressed. I know it's all because of the ring, but I didn't like the way they made him seem. lol. To get off that subject, does anyone know when they are making the Hobbit into a movie?
