Susan Kay Message Board

Paula Pringle posts on 7/9/2005 8:59:24 PM This was such a great book. Susan Kay goes to such extreme lengths in every detail of the book. I was so entralled with this book that I could not put it down. After seeing "The Phantom of the Opera" on stage and the movie version, I was excited to know about "Phantom". It was so well written that I could envision every detail of the story. I commend Susan Kay on her writing. As she states in the back of the book, it was quite a feat to follow such a blockbuster as "The Phantom of the Opera" with a book not knowing if she could pull off writing about the phantom of the opera. But she was able to do it and do it extremely well. I applaud Susan Kay and highly reccommend "Phantom" to any reader, especially those already a lover of "The Phantom of the Opera".
Tammy B. posts on 6/18/2005 11:35:23 AM The petition is the fastest way to a reprint (I hope). Please search for it through a search engine as I am unable to post the site on this board. I found it using "phantom","kay", "petition". There are over 2000 signatures now.

karen posts on 6/7/2005 6:43:42 PM I have never, in my life, enjoyed a book so much as Legacy. It is a triumph such as I never thought to experience in literature. It is the most engrossing, detailed, and fluid novel imaginable. Susan Kay, I know little to nothing about you but have dozens and dozens of questions about you now. I will scour the Internet for details about you. If, by chance, this post should ever be seen by you, thank you THANK YOU thank you so much for taking 15 years of your life to so enrich mine. You are a wonderful author.

Tammy B. posts on 6/3/2005 12:25:02 AM Pam, and all interested. There is a petition online to get the book reprinted. Search with google or whatever engine with the words "phantom", "kay", and "petition". Get as many folks as you can to sign! This is likely the only route to a reprint!!!
Pam Simmering posts on 6/2/2005 10:54:05 PM Please, is there anyway this book can be reprinted. Hardback paperback, whatever. There are so many people like me who can not afford the "ebay" price for this book. Thanks for your consideration Pam Simmering
