When her mother dies in a car accident, 14 year old Marion decides to stay with her stepfather Rémi rather than to move to her father's. Rémi, a 30 year old club pianist, raised Marion and is very close to her. After a few days, Marion tells Rémi she's sexually attracted by him. At first shocked by this confession, Rémi tries to reason with the young girl but without success. Furthermore, he starts to look at Marion in a different manner and soon, abandoning his prejudices, makes love to her. While Marion's love for him is the sincere love of a teenager, Rémi, tortured by scruples and guilt, hardly enjoys happiness.
