An arguing couple are driving quickly through the rain to catch the ferry to their island retreat. Along the way they find an injured young man at the roadside- and end up helping him, even though they miss the ferry. A series of events brings said young man to their island, and starts off a twisted love triangle, leading to an unexpected conclusion and character death.
