Based on a true story 'The Frozen Ground' released in 2013. It is one of the best thriller movies in 2013. The plot is Anchorage, Alaska, circa, United States. A town teeming with strip clubs, drug addiction, prostitution, and runaway girls whom nobody would miss if they went missing. A dangerous Alaskan serial killer Robert Hansen (John Cusack), and detective Glenn Flothe (Nicolas Cage). The detective is investigating a series of missing girls cases and some dead girls dug up by animals out in the frozen wilderness. All of these events are somehow connected. The criminal mind of the killer is genius. But the detective is more smarter than him. The detective spotted him after a teenage prostitute (Cindy Paulson) managed to escape from the killer, and went to the police to tell the story. They needed strong evidence against the killer but couldn't find anything at his house. The killer buried all evidence in the jungle. But they were able to find his rifle as the evidence and the prostitute girl. At the very end the killer surrendered himself and helped the detectives to find out the bodies of the missing girls.
