Robert John Burke has just come back home in Rhode Island after having been released from prison. Several years ago, he killed the father of his girl-friend who had also been killed in a car accident. In fact, no one knows exactly anymore what Burke did and why he was sent to jail. He's hired by Adrienne Shelly's father as a mechanic. Shelly, a young student, is very unstable and hesitates between Harvard and modelling. She falls in love with Burke in spite of his father's precautions.

Light comedy with agreeable arty tricks. To be dicovered.
