Former race car driver Brent Magna comes home to find his wife missing and his house in a state of disarray. He gets a phone call from an Eastern European man who tells Brent that his wife has been kidnapped. To save her, Brent must complete a set of tasks in order to set her free. If Brent is arrested or fails to follow the instructions perfectly, his wife will be killed. The caller sends Brent to steal a specialized car, filled with cameras to insure that Brent's every move is tracked. At first, the tasks seem random: the caller forces Brent to drive through a series of public places, endangering lives, causing public destruction, and wrecking the cars of pursuing police officers. Then, while waiting for further instruction in a garage, a young girl tries to carjack Brent's specially made car. Brent is forced to kidnap the girl and take her along for the ride. He learns, after questioning her, that the caller orchestrated the entire conflict, as the car is actually her car. She tells Brent that she is the daughter of the head of the major bank in the country, and they figure out what the caller's plot is: he plans on framing Brent and the girl for the robbery of one bank, in order to distract the police from the real heist he is executing across town. Brent and the girl, instead of taking the fall, decide to take off to thwart the caller's robbery and find Brent's wife.
