Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Dear John

Plot Summary Part 3

Obviously, she didn't enjoy the sex. Perhaps John's schlong is too small, or perhaps he accidentally put it in the wrong hole. Either way, Savannah isn't talking about it.

John planned to leave the army and marry Savannah, but on September 11th, 2001, some muslims killed a lot of people in New York and Washington, so John was given a new job, executing large number of muslims, which kept him quite busy.

Savannah, who used to write John regularly, now wrote him less and less often. John wondered why, even though the answer should be obvious. John also had trouble reaching her on the phone.

Finally Savannah pulls the plug and writes John a letter telling him that she's let some other guy bone her and is no longer interested in John or his p_nis, if indeed she ever was. Savannah says she didn't "plan" to fall in love with the other guy, just as she never planned to let him put his dick in her vaj. It just kind of fell in there by accident! Heh heh heh.

John stayed in the army after that. On his next leave he went to visit his retarded dad, who was now very sick, so sick that he had to wear adult diapers and John had to wipe his ass for him. John told his father that he wouldn't be able to wipe his ass for him forever and so he was going to lock his dad up in a retirement home. His dad started to cry like a baby.

The next day, John's Dad gave John a treasure map and a shovel. John went digging in the backyard and came up with boxes and boxes of gold coins. He's rich! For the moment.

John visits Savannah and finds out she's married. She tells him she married Tim, the sensitive guy whose nose John once broke. Tim has a retarded brother named Alan. Tim and Savannah started a horse ranch for retarded people like Alan. Savannah believes that riding horses helps retarded people by... actually, I didn't understand this part. Let's just say they have a horse ranch that gives horse rides to retarded people.

Unfortunately, Tim has cancer. He might die. He needs a lot of money for treatment, more money than a horse ranch for retarded people can bring in.

John, rather than going to the hospital and making Tim's death look like an accident so he can bone Savannah once again, does the exact opposite--he sells his gold coins and gives the money anonymously for Tim's treatment.
