Women who talk about sex want to have sex. When Rosie invites herself over to Don's apartment for dinner and talks about sex, it's because she wants him to put his coldly analytical p_nis in her itchy v_gina.
It's ok for teachers to date students. After I finished this book, I realized that Don, a professor, was dating a student at the school. And no one had a problem with that. According to this book, that's not an ethical issue.
Even the most socially inept men can get sex. If even Don, perhaps the most inept man on the planet, can eventually get sex, that must mean that all socially inept men must be getting sex. Sure enough, if you talk to all the bald, 50 year old men playing Dungeons and Dragons and hanging around the science fiction section of bookstores, you will find out that they are getting laid two, three, even four times a week.

It's easier to have sex by yourself. Don finds sex with another person complicated. I guess when he can control the speed of his own hand, it's easier than going out on a date, heh heh.
