I just found this website today and am bummed about missing the deadline on the complaints. I have contacted Cory so many times I cannot remember with no response. I did keep the e-mail that stated books would be shipping in July and copied that into my coorespondence. I also tried to e-mail the site that has the auto response but as of now have not gotten anything back. I am hoping that I got the e-mail address right. Anyway I am desperate to get my book. I have threatened as like previous posters. Any help would be appreciated as I am at a loss on what to do next.

Cayla, your thank you and others means the world to me. You and others are so very welcome! I also wanted everyone to know that I did hear back from that last person today! This means that 100 percent of the people who made a complaint to the complaints line got their book. I am overjoyed at this! Karen, the auto response is turned on at that email address I gave in my previous post. If you email it, it will direct you to a website that will have the information you need that may help you to get your book.

I'm glad someone got their book - I sure never have and have inquired numerous times without any reply. At least some of you got lying replies.

Hi everyone. As of today, the complaints line is closed. I had committed myself to helping others get the book until 09/30/2006. After that date I have not been taking any new complaints, but I did help anyone who made the complaint thru that date. As of last night my job is done! Over the course of the last six months I had received 211 complaints. The last book came in yesterday. I do have one person who has never contacted me back after about a month and I have tried to contact her several times but have had no reply. I can only assume she either got her book or decided not to do anything. I think my efforts helped those who really wanted to get their book. Although the complaints line is closed, anyone can still send an email to it and they will be redirected to a webpage with the information. Just send a email to joycomplaints at that famous email with a Y. Thanks everyone for being so patient and working hard to get your books!

I have been out of the loop have gone to Dara Joy web site but it has not been updated in along time.What is going on with her?Please let me know.I received her last book but did not care for it.

Hey, I just looked at Dara's web Site. Some of the Garbage has been removed from the Tavern. Actually all of the garbage before 3:00pm today. I wonder if they are trying to get their act together. They still have the link up to purchase the book though. They should have closed that down until all books were sent out.

Hello, I just got my book on Wednesday and it is all thanks to Elizabeth. I don't think that I would of gotten it if not for her. I sent the first email giving them 7 days and still no word and then I did the final 3 days and still no word. And finally thanks to Elizabeth I heard from him Oct. 5th with a tracking number. I also checked out the tracking number and it never did work and I was beginning to suspect that it wasn't valid and then my book came. Thankfully after 18 months.

I am very much displeased with how this whole debacle has been handled. I have corresponded with Cory on several occasions and was told that it would be sent out immediately. The last time was just a week ago and Cory actually gave me a tracking number that was allegedly through the post office. I attempted to confirm that the tracking number was legitimate and found they had no record of it. Cory is lying. I want my books that I paid in advance over a year ago. This is ridiculous. If I do not have my books within 3 business days, I will forward this to my attorney Alex Vanzandt. I will not rest until I either get my books or sue Dara Joy for compensation. Do NOT underestimate me. You have 3 business days

First, Tricia, thanks so much for your kind words. I am so glad you got your book. Second, Ouida, I did save all my communication. The book was originally slated to be published and mailed some vague time during that 1st summer, July or August. When we didn't here from him or Dara by September I just knew that something was up again. If anyone wants to know the full story, email me at joycomplaints at that famous free email that starts with a Y. I have turned on the auto response for any new complaints and it will refer you to a website that will give you all the links to the whole story and suggestions for anyone else out there who may not have received the book yet.
