What? You're not finishing the series? Melfallen has yet to go to war, the Change has yet to happen (or not), etc. This story is NOT finished, and it is a FANTASTIC story. I'm really disappointed that you would leave your readers high and dry--it's really not good for business! Brierley has become so much a part of my life and now it feels as though I've lost contact with her! Very disappointing!

I found the first book in the series by accident and the other two by searching. Luckily our public Library had Twight Rising, Serpant's Dream, but as I neared the end of the book I could see that there would not be enough pages for a completion. And now the Internet does not offer me much consolation. I can only pray that it will be continued and I agree with the person who wrote that she would happily pay for a download copy if that is the only way to finish the series. But I would much prefer to have the book in my hands. Publisher, take note!

I'll admit that I'm not a huge fantasy fun, but when i found your books in my local book store i was hooked. I actually read your books within a week and when i couldn't find books two and three i forced my family to look around. I was searching for your forth book and came across this site and I'm upset that there isn't going to be a fourth book. Your stories are beautifully written and I strongly encourage you to find a way to publish. I know that I'm not the only person out there that is left hanging and cant seem to get your characters out of their heads.

DO any of you ride horses... i know it is random but horses are awesome! i love horses i am a spaze about horses! Horses rock no human anaimal or mammal is better then horses they are so sweet!

I can so not believe there is no fourth book...been looking for over an hour on the interent for more info and found this message board. As I finish on here I am going to write to Tor and tell them what I think..how can they call the third book the final book when there are more events to unfold. The book pulled me into a world with characters and events that have held my attention thru the reading ( & waiting for) of all the book ..I want to know more. Please keep trying to publish the fouth.

I agree with the call to boycott TOR but add Forge and Orb to the list to make Tom Doherty Assoc to sit up and call Diana Back. I Believe the story has the right to move to its conclusion and if they won't have you look to other publishers or the internet to allow the shari'a to change. So mote it be.

Diana, I love your series so much and i was heartbroken to find out that it wasn't continuing. I think the Brierley series is absolutely wonderful, and as a Wiccan I find the magical side so compelling. Please try to get your fourth book published somehow, TOR don't know what they're missing out on. From reading this page its plain that you have lots of fans who love your books and can't wait for the next. The best of luck, annie.

I have been anxiously awaiting more books in the Brierley series, and now I am sunk. I am an adult, a bookworm, with 15,000+ books in my house. I have read a large percentage of what is out there, especially fantasy/sci fi, and I haven't been so excited about a charming fantasy world since Fiona Patton came out. I haven't been so disappointed in a "vanishment" since Kim Antieau disappeared after 2 books.
Let me say this loud: THESE ARE GOOD. They stand up to Mercedes Lackey and Andre Norton. I should know.

I found Book 1 in a '2 for 1' basket here in Australia and was desperate to read the rest of the series. In the end I had to order the next 2 from the US and was flabbergasted to read that the publisher had decided not to continue with the series. Diana, PLEASE keep working on getting your 4th book published somehow. I am an avid fantasy reader - have hundreds of fantasy books - and your series is up with the best. If nothing else, would you consider having it as an online book?/ I would definitely pay to download it to read.
