pf posts on 12/2/2006 12:09:55 AM Why aren't there any questions or lessons on any of her books. DOes she restrict them? Over the years my fifth graders have written to her because they always enjoy her books. THere is never any response ot any information, or questions, ore lessons on her books. What's with her?
posts on 8/2/2006 4:56:23 PM At the time i read this book i wasnt much into reading, it just so happend this boy in my high school wanted to get me a gift and it was the book Look for me by moonlight. O my gosh what a great story, i finished within days. I love the fact that it was a young lady falling for a dark mysterious man, a man who did nothing but temp her.

posts on 4/9/2006 2:02:50 PM I have to do a biography on Mary Downing Hahn, she seems really interesting, so it should be easy, but I curious what information I can find and where. I don't want to end up finding all lies.
Martha King posts on 4/5/2006 7:22:04 PM Hello, I'm a grandmother and often read the books that my grandchildren are reading. (I have 21 grandchildren and love to promote good reading.) I just read Stepping on the Cracks and was interested in the theme I detected on pacifism. My father was a CO in WW II and I was interested in how this was woven into a story for children, and how the author feels about it. Martha K.
Claire posts on 3/24/2006 12:25:44 AM I'm amazed to have found this site. I'm 25 years old but Mary Downing Hahn was my favorite author as a child. I even wrote her a fan letter in the sixth grade and she sent me a reply. I told her I wanted to become an author and that desire was influenced by reading her books. It's incredible to see how many people have been affected by her books the same way I was. Reading these posts has brought back all the feelings I had as I read her books. If someone has contact information for her I would love to send her a message. Thanks.
Kate posts on 3/5/2006 10:50:24 AM I would also love to see another great book about Gordy, his family, and his friends
