posts on 7/17/2006 11:50:10 AM I began this book in December, but unlike all of the others, I could never keep reading. This plot would have made a good short story, but to make it a novel was obviously a struggle. Too thin - too illogical. If Tom wanted to kill Kinsey, he would have killed her at the side of the road... the attempt at the repeated burial was inane. Because of earlier outstanding plots, I'll give T a try - but please - add substance.
posts on 6/21/2006 11:25:43 AM The style was terrific. The book was great. I was born in 1953 (on the east coast) and the description of the era was dead on. This was my first Kinsey book. I've already ordered A&B. Nevertheless, I too had questions. I know why Tom did it -- MONEY. But there were a lot of loose ends. I wanted to know more about Tom's relationship with his wife and her money. Most bothersome: What's the deal between Tannie's grandfather and father at the hospital and the pink paper? Did Kathy send a poison pen letter using the paper she originally planned to give to Liza??

posts on 6/15/2006 12:39:20 AM So, I just finished S. I was a bit disappointed as many others. Obviously, he had the means with his business but that was too obvious and his motive was weak--unless there was an affair we all missed. I was hoping the killer was juicier (I thought maybe all the guys got together and planned to get rid of her to save their marriages, etc.). and who tipped Tanner off to the affair between Jake and Violet? A lot of questions (same in the case of R, I think). I also wanted more of Kinsey's relationship with Cheney (and where was Henry?) Still a fun read.
posts on 5/28/2006 3:26:01 PM i love all of the books. can't wait until T comes out.when will that be? please make it real soon.. thanks
posts on 5/22/2006 11:14:26 AM Not to be overly repetitve, but I am glad that I was not the only one confused and disappointed with the ending to "S". I was unclear as to Tom's motive, not to mention his attempt to do Kinsey in with the same strange kind of murder. Did he think it would take 34 years to find her? Obviously not! So many loose ends that needed wrapping up, such as the relationship between Kathy and Liza, Liza and Ty, etc. Too many holes, not enough answers, if you ask me.
posts on 5/18/2006 11:32:16 PM What are the names of the killer doctor and his wife?
posts on 4/26/2006 10:40:25 PM I have enjoyed reading Sue's books and I will continue to read them but I was confused by the ending of "S", just like everyone else?
posts on 4/10/2006 7:05:50 PM I loved the A to R series. I was really looking forward to this new release. I am not sure I will be as excited to get a hold of the next book. What a disappointment this book has become.
peg posts on 3/28/2006 11:36:31 AM So why did Tom kill Violet? I don't get it. Thanks.
