Hey there, all you fabulous reader. As always, I love hearing from you.
MacKenzie, Skylar, and Cassie--So glad you liked Distant Waves so much. I'm discussing a possible sequel with my publisher, Scholastic. So far, nothing definite, but I would love to write more abut Jane and Thad (Tesla, Mimi, Amelie-Em, and Blythe, too). I already have strong ideas about what will happen to them next.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the sequel and would ADORE to see a movie made of it. These things are not in my control so--all I can do is wait and try to send positive thought waves.
Skylar--Also so glad you loved DW. Happy you read Reincarnatin, too. You might like The Bar Code Tattoo and its sequel The Bar Code Rebellion. I have a new novel coming in fall of 2010, too. I'll let you know more about it as the time gets closer.

Ms. Weyn,
Just this morning I finished your book Distant Waves. I have read several books taking place on the titanic but yours is my single favorite. Not only is it the best Titanic book I have ever read, it is the best booki have ever read in my life.
My favorite characters were Jane and Thad. I actually love them so much that I hope that a movieis made out of the book so can play Jane (if that's okay with you of course).

I just finished reading one of your brilliant books called Distant Waves. It is the best book I have ever read. I hope there will soon be a series and a movie. I love how you added real facts even though it was a fantasy. Distant Waves made my idle Nikola Tesla because you described him as a brilliant man. I have fallen in love with all the charicters and I will be hoping for a series and maybe a movie!

Hi I am Mackenzie Daly and I am in 5th grade. I just finished reading Distant Waves. It was the best book I ever read. It was so good I got goose bumps when I read it. I was hoping there would be a sequel, If there is one I would like to know about it.

Denver and Kayla-Marie: I am thrilled that you are so into The Bar code Tattoo. Denver, if you read the short article at the back of BCT, you will see that I tell about the religious influence that started me thinking about the story. It's from the Book of Revelations.
Kayla-Marie--I think it's awesome that Kayla Marie is your real name, and you look like the fictional Kayla.
All of you would like to see a movie of the book. I would too. I'd dearly love that. With all of us holding that idea maybe some movie director or producer will feel our vibe.

I believe that the barcode tattoo books would be great movies and would do brilliant in the box office. My real name is Kayla-Marie, Just like the girl in the book, and It's so strange because I'm 17, brown hair and blue eyes. If the books came out into a film, I would feel like they were made just for me.
Lol, what I wouldn't do to play the part of Kayla. lol

Hey Suzanne I loved Distant Waves. I'm 11 and love to read, but other things out there just don't seem that good. I would go crazy over a sequel to this book, maybe somehting with Jane and Thad getting married, Mimi going to Haiti, and them doing something else exciting. I thought that the end to Distant Waves was exciting, but left more of a story to be told. A sequel would ROCK!

suzzane i think there should be a movie for distant waves and once you know if htere is going to be a sequal please tell us what the name will be cause i love that book

Wow. I'm in the middle of reading the Bar Code Tatoo, and it is amazing. You really have the timing thing down, like knowing exactly when to make something major happen. It made me jump alot of times :). I just wanted to know if you had any religious influence on writing this book. Because it just sounded like something my preacher talked about. But I have been wanting to get the sequel to it. You definatley need to make a movie out of that!!! Hahah. Thanks for writing such a great book!
