mikey posts on 1/26/2012 1:18:42 AM Hey Suzanne! I am a fan of your outstanding book The Barcode Tatoo. If there is one question I could ask you is why did kayla have to go through all that trouble although the trouble made each chapter better it seemed as though it never ended. Why? I would have loved to have Kayla be caught by Global 1 and find another way to escape. Your book was great and taught me that if you stay strong and lean towards others for help you can do anything you want to. It also taught me that not all people are trustworthy and you have to be careful before you fall into their pit of love or lies. But in the end there is always a friend that will stand by you just as Mfumbe did for Kayla. I am stoked about reading The Bar Code Rebellian and hope for many more in this series. You are an outstanding incredible writer. Your work pulls me into the story. It was as if I were in the hospital or on the mountains with Kayla. Thank you for your great work!:)

FAMT posts on 1/25/2012 8:23:24 AM Hello Suzanne. We read your book in class and it's really strange. We like the story at the beginning but at the end it's to confusing. We can't identify us with Kayla and the story because it happens in the future. Anyway, we wish you good luck by writing your next book. FAMT

suzanne posts on 1/4/2012 5:17:51 PM Hello and Happy New Year! Nelly, thanks so much for your lovely message. It's notes like yours that keep me going when the going gets rough and I think I'll never have another idea. Kelsey, thanks for your encouragement too. I am now doing my editor's revisions on The Bar Code Prophecy. The pub date is now Sept. 2012, I believe. My new novel about the Salem with trials, Invisible World will be out in August 2012 though. Janet, you warmed my heart with your story. Make Room for Patty is one of a series of 6 books. If you want more I believe the are available at on line sites. I have to get back to work on Br Code Prophecy so until next time, love to you all. Suzanne
Janet posts on 12/18/2011 7:22:18 AM Dear Ms. Weyn, I teach a class of 4th graders who came to me seriously behind grade level. Many are from broken homes or have been passed from one foster home to another. They were disenchanted with reading and resisted all of my attempts to get them excited . . . until . .I brought in a copy of Make Room for Patty for a read-aloud. Three pages in and they were hooked! Gradually, their voices replaced mine in the daily readings. Their comprehension skills jumped as we discussed the book. They even broke out in spontaneous cheers as we read the last lines together. Because of your book, these kids have a fighting chance at school success. Thank you!
Kylie posts on 12/5/2011 5:37:39 PM Hi again, I'm so excited about the new book! At my school they just recently catalogued "The Barcode Rebellion" and now almost all my friends were wanting to read the 1st book! I was the first to read the book so I told everyone it was the BEST BOOK EVER!!! (because obviously it is!) I'm glad it's gonna be coming in the summer so I can just go to the store any time and buy it! (haha) Are you planning to make more Barcode books? I hope you will, these are really awesome and these are the books that really got me into Sci-Fi. Thanks for answering :) -Kylie P.S. It was awesome when I first found out that Kayla's name was so close to mine :)
Kelsey posts on 12/4/2011 10:15:54 PM Dear Mrs. Weyn, You are one of my favorite authors. I am doing a presentation about you at school. I was wondering if anything that has happened in your life has inspired any of the stories you have written. I was also wondering if there are any similarities between your characters and yourself. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks, Kelsey
Nellie Bentz posts on 11/23/2011 10:45:00 PM Dear Suzanne Weyn, Your books have made me so happy. Many days I find myself getting so captivated in your books that I totally forget about the time and read until I finish the book. I hope that you will keep writing. Thanks and have a wonderful day!
suzanne posts on 11/7/2011 7:25:37 PM Hey Kylie, Charles, and Travis! Thanks for writing. I have just finished a third novel in the The Bar Code Tattoo series and I am waiting to hear back from my editor about what revisions he might like in it. It's a little different from the first two Bar Codes in that it introduces some new characters. Kayla and Mfumbe are still in it but the clones not as much. It does, though, pick up the story where Bar Code Rebellion leaves off. It will be out some time around next summer. I have a scary historical thriller coming out in the spring of 2012. I'm very excited to hear how you like that. I hope you like Distant Waves, Travis. There is a lot of science and invention and history there, as well as ghosts! Let me know what you think. Your encouragement keeps me going. Thanks so much for being in touch. Love Suzanne
