Charles Keenan posts on 10/13/2011 1:29:12 PM When my 12 year old daughter wanted to order "The Bar Code Tatoo" earlier this year from her school's book service there was a twinkle in her eye. She is our youngest (with 4 older brothers) and we keep track of one another's interests. Somehow she knew her dad needed a break from his routine reading and I was the one who read your book. It was very good and I was happy with it from cover to cover...and it probably gave me some insight into my soon-to-be teenage daughter. Thank you, Suzanne Weyn.
Kylie posts on 10/6/2011 6:11:10 PM Hello Ms. Weyn, I have just finished reading "The Barcode Tattoo" and "The Barcode Rebellion." I hated to see it end! Please don't tell me that the sequel is going to be the last in the series! I love those two books...they are thrilling and the only books that I will ever read and like as much as I do. Even though KM-6 has already saved the world, I want to hear about Kayla and Kara and Kass and Kendra and KM-6 and how their life is like afterwards. Please write another book about them! -KR-1 (ha ha)
suzanne posts on 9/26/2011 5:16:19 PM Hi Readers! As always, love hearing from you! Ramona: Yes I do. I would need a fee, especially to travel. Contact me on fb and we can talk further. Thanks for using Empty. Kara: I would love to write a Distant Waves sequel. I have to talk Scholastic into it and so far no luck even though DW is so popular with my readers. Like, wise, Josie, I loved writing the Once Upon a Times but I don't think Simon and Schuster is doing any new ones. I'm pretty sure another author did Rose Red and Rose White. Mrs. Yingling, thanks for letting me know that your student liked Recruited so much. It inspires me to keep writing. Mom: in the back of the Bar Code Tattoo I wrote an essay on what inspired me. I'm working on a third Bar Code book now. It will be out next fall. Mindy: I do most of my research on the Internet. So glad you liked Diamon Secret. Niki: my advice to young writers to to read a lot, write a lot, and to consider a career in publishing. Hope you're enjoying the start of the new school year and all the great books out there!

Ramona Bregatta posts on 9/20/2011 11:06:11 AM Dear Ms. Weyn, I am a middle school librarian in Cherry Hill, NJ. We have selected your new release, Empty as our whole school read for our 8th grade class. We are starting a green initiative this year and would be interested in having you speak at our school. Do you do speaking engagements?
Kara posts on 9/16/2011 10:19:50 PM Dear Ms. Weyn, I have just finished reading your book, "Distant Waves." I fell in love instantly and I'm asking something that would give me great joy, almost unimaginable. PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER BOOK, if you can. A response would be highly appreciated. Thank You, Kara P.S. I also love it because Jane and Thad are still together somehow and it can relate to me :)
Josie posts on 9/11/2011 6:22:32 PM I love the way that you write, Suzanne! It makes me want to become a better writer. I was wondering about the Once Upon A Time Series. Are they going to write anymore of them? There are many more fairytales that they could go into. Here are some examples: Thumbelina, The Ugly Duckling (of course with humans:D), Snow White and Red Rose, Hansel and Gretal, Peter Pan, The Prince and the Pauper, Little Red Riding Hood, and the Nutcracker to name a few. I am slowly collecting all the books, but I made it a goal to collect all of yours first. I've read all the ones you wrote, and I believe them to be the best. They are fantastic and thanks for writing!
Ms. Yingling posts on 9/7/2011 1:27:51 PM Just wanted to let you know that I ordered your book Recruited especially for one of my struggling, reluctant readers who will ONLY read sports books. He finished it in one day, brought it back, and was quite effusive that it was the best book he had ever read. Thank you for turning your hand to subjects that sturggling readers find appealing.
Mom posts on 9/6/2011 1:04:51 AM I am a mother of a 6th grader and just saw the Scholastic book catalog that comes home from school. I saw your Bar Code Tattoo title and was shocked that someone out there (you) may have a clue as to what is going to happen in the future for real (I haven't read the book yet). Some believe that the mark of the beast (666) mentioned in the book of Revelation is the bar code tatoo. Every current UPC code on our retail items/packages has a 666 mark. Would love to know where you received your inspiration on this idea....
Mindy posts on 8/21/2011 8:08:14 PM Suzanne, when you were you were doing your research for The Diamond Secret, where did you find your research. The story I thought was an interesting view into history and what really happened. I think you are a great writer and I hope that you keep writing. Have a fab. year! *~Mindy~*
Nikki posts on 8/5/2011 12:52:03 PM I love your books like all the others on this post. I do have some questions though. What advice would you give an author who is just starting out? What publishers do you highly recommend? When did you decide that you wanted to write? If you could answer any of these questions, that would be amazing. Thanks for all your time, and have a totally awesome (what's left of it anyway) summer!! : )
