Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Enough Said

Eva, a masseuse in Los Angeles, is dissatisfied with her life. Her daughter leaves for college in a few months, her husband divorced her a few years prior, her clients are obnoxious, and her dating life is non-existent. She's coaxed into going to a party with her best friends Sarah and Will, and while there, she befriends a poet named Marianne and a schlubby man named Albert. Despite not being attracted to Albert, she takes him up on an offer to go on a date. Much to her surprise, she finds herself slowly falling for Albert over time. They begin to see each other frequently, meeting each other's respective children and falling in love. One day, she discovers that the ex-husband Marianne has been verbally trashing every time they hang out is, in reality, Albert. Eva decides to keep this knowledge from both Marianne and Albert, trying to remain friends with her and date him while keeping both in the dark. However, when these two worlds inevitably collide, Marianne and Albert both no longer want anything to do with Eva, and Eva is left once again alone, with her daughter soon departing, looking for a companion. She is forced to set out to right her error in judgment and rekindle her relationship with Albert, if at all possible.
