karen posts on 10/31/2009 1:55:32 AM I would liketo help but as far as I know there is no heroine in any victoria holt's books named Katie Spring.Unless the name comes from one of her books under her psudo's Jean Plaidy or Phillipa Carr. There is a character in one of her books named Chantel Spring, from the book The Secret Woman. The herione was Anna Brett and Chantel came into the story as a nurse to Anna's antique collecting aunt. And Chantel remains a prominent figure throughout the book. By the way, I love all her books but my favorite is The King of the Castle.
Pat posts on 9/10/2009 6:11:38 PM I also love VH. My favorite is also Mistress of Mellyn with King of the Castle coming a close second. I often wonder what her spouse looked like since her heroes usually tended to be tall and thin.
RCB posts on 9/2/2009 12:25:25 PM Here's a question I need an answer to that I can't find. My wife, Katie Spring, was named after a Victoria Holt novel. I would like to purchase this for her. However, i have no idea what book it is. Asking her would ruin the surprise and she doesnt know anyways. Please help me.

Mary posts on 7/4/2009 5:43:05 AM I just read "the time of the hunter´s moon"...and found it one of the worse book i ever read, i thought it away to the garbage. I understant now why you can find it for less than 1€ in internet. Don´t read it! it´s a waste of time!
Teresa posts on 6/24/2009 11:11:32 PM VH is my fave author too! I've read so many of her books and some of almost all of her other pen names that i'm having trouble locating any that I haven't read. I'm not saying I've read them all, I'm just saying I'm having trouble finding some "new" to me books. Sometimes, invariably, I end up w/ other authors b/c I've got read something..good. So sometimes it's Jane Austin and I actually just started a book by Norah Lofts. Her writing is clean and vividly portrayed too! I'm reading The Lost Queen now and really like it!
