Hope posts on 8/4/2007 4:28:39 PM Please forgive me! I found the book I was looking for about Topsail Island, NC. And it was by another author who wrote about the same time, same genre. Thanks so much for everyone who has been so kind as to email me with info. you're all peaches and cream!
Carol posts on 8/4/2007 2:10:05 PM I love Shadow of the Lynx too, but I hated the way it ended.
Barbra posts on 8/4/2007 1:55:33 PM I agree! Shadow of The Lynx is one of my favorite books by VH.

Danny posts on 8/3/2007 12:50:14 AM They have never made a film based on one of victoria holts novels. I think The Shadow of The lynx would make a great movie!
Teresa posts on 7/29/2007 2:41:19 PM I agree with Liz, that series is great! However, one of my all-time favorites of her's is My Enemy the Queen. If you like Queen Elizabeth, you'll love this one. Bon Ape Read! :)

My favourites so far have to be- On the Night of the Seventh Moon and The pride of the peacock.
Hope posts on 7/23/2007 11:09:08 AM Oh, help an old woman here if you will. I need to know the name of V. HOlt's book taking place on Topsail Island NC. Something about a treasure I think. Email me if you know the name Hope... and my email is wcleve4935@aol.com
Teresa posts on 7/18/2007 5:06:27 PM As far as I know there are no movies made from her books. Why? I'd like to know myself. It sounds like the type of genre that the BBC would handle, but it just hasn't happened. Her stories are sooo much better than alot of the garbage that they turn into movies.
Cathy posts on 7/17/2007 10:28:15 PM Tina, try these: www.half.ebay.com or barnesandnoble used & out of print section. Books start at $2.00 for a good condition hardcover or paperback. Hope this helps!
