Let me try to remember all the questions. TRICKS isn't a sequel to any of the books. It's a totally new story. I'm currently writing FALLOUT, the final Kristina book, due out in 2010. Megan, I'm thrilled that my books helped you notice things about your friend, and that you helped turn her around. Hi! I read your books at a pretty young age, but what I loved about them was that you didn't sugarcoat anything. You wrote what you knew was true, even though it may not always be pretty. My friends say "Her books are too scary.." and the like. I disagree. I say that these things are really happening, and we should know about them, because they are scary... but real. After I read your books I started noticing things about people. I met this girl who cut herself, and was thinking about suicide. I was able to help her get through her issues. Now I also aspire to be a adolescent psychotherapist, because I loved the feeling I got when I watched my new friend branch out and move away from her problems. I can't wait for your next book! Jeez I love your books I always seem to cry though When I read your stuff I feel like I acutually really know the characters. I cried at the end of impulse because conner died. but the love that tony and vanessa had I wish i had. Ohhhh! Okay, I was thinking when the last line was read that there had to have been more to that paper airplane, of course, I get it now.. So, that was some sort of symbolism then, right? Amazing. I do not expect happy endings. The books make me feel and that is all I can ask for it a book. Thank you.

The paper airplane is the letter Conner got from his mother... the one that literally pushed him over the edge. Remember, he folded it up and let it fly into the desert? When Tony found it, he understood why. As for the ending, sadly one in three men who attempt suicide and fail go back and "get it right" I don't promise happy endings, only honesty.

I have read Crank, Glass and Impulse, currently working on Burned, should finish tonight, I hope, then next it's Identical and of course Flirting With The Monster.. then tricks. I absolutely loved Glass and Crank, so real. The ending to Impoulse could have been better.. I still don't understand the paper airplane? But aside from that, love the book. You're amazing and I WISH I could write like you.
