hi pam here, i think ice cream is a lightweight. a no mark. but im still trying to work out what a melon scratcher is. any ideas. thanks pam

an ice cream, I think is is slang for Geezer, an ice cream freezer, but someone one who is a little soft, hope this helps

This is for james, try Sheila Quigley, her books are set in the north and are unputdownable, she has three out and another next month. Run For Home,Bad Moon Rising, Living On A Prayer the new one Every Breath You Take. You will love them.

This is to James warren, another author whos books are quite similar to Martina Cole's are Mandasue Heller's. I have read all of martinas books and thouroughly enjoyed most of them, Mandasue's are of a similar nature however they are set in Manchester as opposed to London I think. I ve read two of Hellers books and they werent bad, but they werent as good as Martina's. Hope this has helped you a little

please can you help me,my girlfriend has been told about a author who writes in the same vain as martina cole,would someone have any ideas or recommend someone,it would be of great help,

I've seen The Jump and Dangerous Lady, and they are both really good dramas but not the same as the book. In The Jump, Giorgio actually escapes and Donna kills him once she confronts him about the porn! Mad differences all the way through really but still a very good drama. Dangerous Lady much closer to the book and also very very good - well worth a watch.
