Robert Segarra Message Board

Kerry posts on 10/10/2012 5:22:10 PM If these hack writers who are trashing Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra, without even reading it would spend a fraction of their time learning how to tell a good story, maybe they would not have time, or even the reason to trash something that would most likely bring them joy if they would only give it a chance, rather than let their petty jealousies get the better of them!
Vanessa posts on 10/10/2012 5:10:40 PM These hacks wish they could write a book as fantastic as Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra, but it's like the old saying goes, "Those who can't - trash! Those who CAN - write masterpieces like Still Waiting For The Sun! by Robert Segarra! Lol!
Charlie posts on 10/9/2012 6:15:46 PM The atmosphere, characters, settings, situations, and writing style displayed in Still Waiting For The Sun by author Robert Segarra is amazing, and it is why I loved the book as much as I did, and why I'm still a member of this book club. Let the troll, hack, good-for-nothing, can't-rack-up-a-single sale Trolls say what they will, they are just jealous. For us to validate anything they say or write, or to give them more attention than they deserve just takes away from what we started out to do - which was review a darn good book.

Monika posts on 10/9/2012 6:09:52 PM I have to say that these are indeed talentless trolls that are ruining our message board. You all know that, don't you? You'd think the folks at Allreaders would do a better job at policing their own site, but maybe they just don't care enough. It may be time to take our posts elsewhere. Perhaps it's time to start out own message board, just like we started our Robert Segarra/Still Waiting For The Sun book club - our chapter has been meeting for five straight years now. We don't always discuss Still Waiting For The Sun, but we usually do. It's such a fun book.
Linda posts on 10/8/2012 5:28:05 PM Just so we have it clear - you all do realize that you are giving far too much attention to these disgruntled and jealous writers, dont you? These ARE writers that are posting negative messages about Robert Segarra and Still Waiting For The Sun. I think that if we really wanted to burn these talentless hacks up, we'd just ignore them, and maybe they'd just go away. How about we try this?
Maggie posts on 10/8/2012 5:22:46 PM Trolls really burn me up. I hate to give this much attention to this a-wipe, but it really shows how strong the jealousy factor in other writers can go. It can lead a mediocre writer to do something crazy, which is lash out at other more successful writers, which is really a useless way to react. Instead of working harder at being a great writer, like Robert Segarra, author of Still Waiting For The Sun, as well as a dozen or so other books, including a children's book that is also getting alot of attention right now, they stoop down to doing silly things and making fools of themselves. It's really sad.
Kelly posts on 10/7/2012 2:21:18 PM Jealousy and envy are powerful emotions. They can really do a number on a person. That's why I recommend that Person and all the other trolls, though I suspect that it's all one and the same screwed up individual get some help. Still Waiting For the Sun is an awesome book, and Robert Segarra is an insightful, creative and extremely versatile writer. Nothing you trolls post here is going to change that. If anything, it just cements our dedication to this one very talented writer. So post away. Every comment that you post just inspires us, and helps us better understand why it is that we read the books and listen to the music of Robert Segarra!
Rita posts on 10/7/2012 2:16:07 PM I see the Troll Patrol is on high alert! The jealousy thing must be eating them up. I'm not kidding. But it's true what you guys are saying - once someone is successful, all the wanabees come out of the cracks and want to trash someone who is popular, like Robert Segarra, author of one of the nest books I've read in a long time - Still Waiting For The Sun! Read it and weep, trolls!
Maria posts on 10/6/2012 12:37:04 PM No, actually, it's not amazing, it's sad. I do agree, though, that it is jealousy and envy that is driving this assault, but that does happen to good books, good actors, good musicians and good music and art. The good ones always attract the hate of those who cannot produce works that the rest of the population admire and adore. So hate all you want, but Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra is what it is, a gem of a masterpiece. Read it before you condemn it, and you will either end up a member of this message group, or you will be in the minority of haters. If you fall into the latter group, maybe you can take a writing course, and maybe one day we will be reading your novel - though this is obviously unlikely, because if you devoted the time to your writing that you do to posting messages of jealousy, you'd probably be a decent writer by now if you had any talent whatsoever - I guess the odds are against that. So instead, just keep hating!
Connie posts on 10/6/2012 12:30:14 PM It is pretty amazing - I've never seen any one book attacked as much as Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra, and I am certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that the haters are other writers that cannot write a sentence to save their lives. They are probably self-published, if they are even published at all, and the envy is devouring them from the inside out. Amazing!
