Robert Segarra Message Board

Karen posts on 10/5/2012 4:55:22 PM A haters gonna hate! -Person- just because you can't write like Robert Segarra, author of Still Waiting For The Sun (I bet this is eating you up) that doesn't mean you should be so jealous. It is definitely not going to increase sales for your mediocre book. Just try harder next time to write a better book of your own.
Susana posts on 10/5/2012 4:48:06 PM "Person" aka dum Bich - why don't you mind your own business and find some other message board to grace with your "wit." Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra is most definitely a book that you hoped you had written. Too bad. It's been done already. Move on, bich!
Karen posts on 10/4/2012 5:46:19 PM Aww, sweety! Don't let this eat you up. Hey, "Person", if that's even your real name! Lol! We know you've probably poured your heart and soul into a book that you probably got self-published and which only sold 3 copies (These include 2 that you bought yourself, and one that your mama bought!) - but that's no reason for you to be so distraught and hateful over the fact that there are three separate book clubs posting here, that all love Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra (among a few other books and writers). This jealousy thing is going to cripple you if you let it. Don't let it. Go write another book. With any luck, maybe someone will start a book club for yours. Hate is destructive. Don't let hate and jealousy destroy you!

Morgan posts on 10/4/2012 5:33:10 PM Don't be jealous, a-wipe, Maybe you never went to school and never learned how to write a report, essay, heck, maybe you are one of the thousands of functionally illiterate in this country. We'll explain it again to you jealous morons, or perhaps you disgruntled writers who can't find anyone interested in forming a book reading club dedicated to your scriblings. We follow a format, and if you don't like it, or if your envy is too much to bear, go somewhere else. No one wants your input here. Go haunt another message board where perhaps your stupidity might seem a bit more clever, rather than troll-like.

Lacey posts on 10/3/2012 5:29:18 PM Mark my words, this book is going to become a classic. I may be a new convert to Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra, but I think the story and characters were just so well thought-out, and so clevely executed. The entire story read so smoothly, and I was enthralled from beginning to end. I read the ebook version, by the way.
Sarah posts on 10/3/2012 2:40:36 PM I thought Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra was one of the most complex novels I've read in a long time. It had a little bit of drama, romance, mystery, and mainstream all mixed into one neat little book. Still waiting for the sequel, though.
Chyna posts on 10/2/2012 5:23:48 PM A rainy day here in New Jersey, and Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra immediately comes to mind! Just like with The Cat In The Hat by Dr Seuss, certain books remind you of certain things. This book is one of those. Love it.
Joan posts on 10/1/2012 6:16:02 PM Yes, I kind of have to agree with Tara regarding Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra and her acceptance. It seemed as if the little moments leading up to the storm was the true turning point. Before that she was looked at with curiosity, but I don't feel she was truly accepted before that.
Tara posts on 10/1/2012 6:12:47 PM Personally, I though Jane was never truly accepted until nearly the end of the book in Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra, when the big storm tore through the area.
