Maren posts on 9/14/2012 6:04:17 PM I have not felt this excited to read a book in I don't know how long! Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra had some large shoes to fill, and I can honestly say that after reading the first chapter, I am hooked. I love this book, and the characters, and I can't wait to get deeper and deeper into the story. If the rest of the book is half as good as the first chapter, this is going to be a classic...
Lorelei posts on 9/14/2012 5:58:38 PM Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra was one of the most adorable books ever. It was like a fairy tale from beginning to end. There is magic in those pages, and it all comes from the setting, the arrangement of the words and plots, and the amazing characterization!!!
Ariel posts on 9/13/2012 5:27:27 PM What an excellent surprise this book was for me. Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra is a keeper. This is one of the only contemporary books that I will read which I will keep. Most of the others are not really worth re-reading. But this one is. I absolutely love this one.

Isabela posts on 9/13/2012 5:24:16 PM Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra has the perfect mix and balance of humor, romance, drama, life and death and everything in between. I loved the contrasts between the various groups and individuals, as well as the magnificent way that they all seemed to interact when their worlds collided.
Abbie posts on 9/12/2012 6:17:38 PM Oh, how I'd love to live in Eatonville, or anywhere near it. After reading Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra I have to believe that there is a charming place like that for me to live. There has to be more to living than just existing, and Jane sure found it. I want to find mine, too.
Billie posts on 9/12/2012 5:35:54 PM Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra is a marvelous novel. I found it enthralling from the very first, and have not read anything like it in contemporary literature, except for a few writers like Fannie Flagg and Adriana Trigiani. I wish there were like this trio!
Kendra posts on 9/11/2012 6:17:25 PM Yes, Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra was definitely an underdog story, and I think it would make an interesting movie. Those kinds of stories always attract a following, and to add to the mix this story actually is a good one. It follows no formula. It's just plain old good storytelling...
Jodi posts on 9/11/2012 6:12:45 PM Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra was an awesome book. I fell in love with Jane from the beginning. She seemed so lost, like the way I feel most of the time, and I was cheering her on when she began to succeed in her new home, against all odds.
Roxanne posts on 9/10/2012 12:06:38 PM I would even enjoy Still Waiting For the Sun by Robert Segarra as a mini-series, sort of like The Thorn Birds or Downton Abbey. Both of those shows accurately and superbly depicted life outside a city, in an adorable little town or village, and The Thorn Birds had emotional themes and love as its main focus. Loved them both, and I know I would love this other story as well. Bring it on!
Kim posts on 9/10/2012 12:00:53 PM I would love to see Still Waiting For The Sun by Robert Segarra as a tv show - cable, so that they wouldn't have to change too much, not that there is anything weird about the book. I just think cable would remain true to the story.
