nut ball continues posts on 9/24/2007 5:02:10 AM there should be another book one day; just too many unanswered questions. TL-191 america is now on its way to being like OLT USSR
nut ball continues posts on 9/23/2007 3:50:56 PM me and gizzi are right, it just remains to be seen how and when these questions are addressed. I believe now though that the level of reconstruction that the whole continent of North America needs, not just the former confederacy will cause the USA of TL-191 2007 to almost be unrecognizable to us
Jack posts on 9/23/2007 3:10:17 PM You're right, Gizzi, there really /are/ cogent arguments to be made for continuing this series.

nut ball continues posts on 9/22/2007 3:16:18 PM Jack, it is comming; at least one more TL-191 book and the revolution in OLT, by the end of the year you will understand
Jack posts on 9/22/2007 5:13:50 AM Ooh, Nut-Ball, glad you reminded me: IatD's release date came and went, some time ago, and the Great Unicorn Goddess didn't come riding back in to kiss your asparagus as you ha prophesied she would.
nut ball continues posts on 9/22/2007 3:03:01 AM there are many loose threads. if here is a splicing of post WW-II and CivilWar Reconstruction then if there is anything like the KKK then they Will Be Killed by Death Squads. I think Confederates that can be Reconstructed Only by force they will be sent to canada and Canadian resisters will be sent to the Confederacy and the Mormons to Baja. If the Hispanic Freedomite situation goes the wrong way it could lead to All of Mexico being absorbed by the USA. I could just go on and on. There Should be at least One More Big Wrap-Up Book
Jack posts on 9/17/2007 12:44:53 PM He's kicking all the characters to the curb and replacing them with characters from an entirely different story. There will be no Josephe Patricke Kennedye Juniores, no Thomase Deweyes and Florae Hamburgeres and Harolde Stassenes and disgruntled, demobilized sergeants who are actually The late Strome Thurmonde in disguise. Then again, I doubt you're the real Gizzie anyway.
John Gizzi posts on 9/16/2007 4:15:05 PM See, see, I was right! Harry Turtledove is seriosly thinking about how to continue his series, even if he's taking this unecesary detour. I told you all that there were to many lose threads.
Jack posts on 9/16/2007 8:06:01 AM Yes, just like Gizzi. Speaking of Gizzi, I read an interview with Turtledove on the Del Rey website where he confirms for the zillionth time that IatD was the last book in the series, but he also says that writing it left him wondering about a more serious Werewolf resistance in Germany, and this is a theme he will deal with in a book to be released next year called The Man With The Iron Heart. So that book's kind of a sequel to IatD, in its own crazy way.
Stone By Day posts on 9/15/2007 6:09:29 PM You're right, Jack, this place is being dragged down by dolts and spammers like Nutball. It's up to serious people like us and Gizzi to keep it alive.
