way2eval posts on 8/10/2007 12:26:41 PM That's the way to do it, if you guys just keep that attitude up kule won't have any power here.
Makkabee posts on 8/10/2007 12:13:24 PM So, who here has read Household Gods? Opinions on the novel? Should HT try for more of these cowriting ventures (this was his second cowritten novel and there are a handfull of short stories as well) or not?
way2eval posts on 8/10/2007 12:04:57 PM Come on guys you can't let 2kule do this to you. That's he's plan, he wants to make you like HIM. Don't you see? Can't you tell? If he brings you down to his level You've lost. The best thing to do is not fall easy prey to his traps, for your own sanity and self-preservation. He laughs at the worst of you, sneers at your defeat...you guys were doing such a good job, going on like nothing had happened. Now look at you, he's controlling you by your emotions, he's the string holder right now...don't let that go on for another second.

2kule4u posts on 8/9/2007 9:45:08 PM I like to su ck pee pees. Will anybody here let me su ck their pee pees? Flaccid pee pees only, please; I love having a mouth full of piss.
Steven posts on 8/9/2007 2:51:28 PM Try posting yet Steven? Now, you've probably already guessed who I am, and if you haven't, well here's a hint...I'm too cool. Ha, I love doing this to people.
Makkabee posts on 8/9/2007 12:25:06 PM Okay, there will be another Derlavai book. But it will consist entirely of scores for Forthwegian Oompah band songs.
Jack posts on 8/9/2007 12:08:13 PM What? How can you not be interested in a continuation of Derlavai? It left so many loose threads! Talsu has moved to Kuusamo; can it be possible that he won't soon become one of the Seven Princes? Sabrino turned down the crown of West Algarve but the evidence that he will change his mind and become king after all is so overwhelming it's not worth talking about. Gainibu has lost the respect of his people through his collaboration, so obviously he will soon be usurped and a civil war will follow, pitting Skarnu's and Merkela's child against Krasta's and Lurcanio's for the right to establish a new dynasty. Just look at the evidence!
Makkabee posts on 8/9/2007 9:19:46 AM A continuation of Derlavai doesn't particularly interest me, but to each his own. I think of all HT's series Videssos has the most room for further books. I can think of several ideas to carry the world both forward and backward in time. Doesn't mean we'll get them, though.
Jack posts on 8/9/2007 2:04:28 AM Gizzi's high handed claims of moral superiority and flippant dismissal of all dissenting opinions have cost him our respect. We used to try to be nice to him, it did no good. Mak, I would like to see more Gerin stories, they were fun. Unlike TL-191, they ended on a strong enough note that I think revisiting them could produce interesting stories. I also believe there's potential for a revisit of Derlavai. 191 has enough characters left to do something, but it wouldn't be worthwhile. I'll bet that when you saw Baen releasing books called ''Wisdom-'' and ''Tales of the Fox,'' you got all excited. I read the series in that form.
Makkabee posts on 8/9/2007 12:37:48 AM The poster you mention is just trying to get attention. I won't demean myself by giving it to him (though demeaning myself in other ways can be fun). Gizzi's trying to make a point, if a bad one, and therefore is at least worthy of having his existence acknowledged.
