Chris posts on 1/20/2010 3:48:54 PM My favourite book of Lavyrle's by far is 'Years'. Very few fiction books will I read more than once. Years is one of them. I adore the characters, and in fact cried so much at one part of the book I developed a headache and had to take a break.

Judy posts on 12/27/2009 3:59:02 AM i have so very much enyjoyed reading LaVyrle Spencer's books.they are simply wonderful and so very relevant to our lives even here in Kenya. i read seperate beds first and from then on i was just hooked. i ask myself how someone can have so much understanding of the human mind in order to create so many different but memorable characters who you can recognize if they walked down your street.its simply amazing.i hope in your retirement you will find more inspiration to write more. we are waiting with bated breathe!

Vida Tattrie posts on 11/18/2009 1:21:18 AM Dear LaVyrle, I'm sure after all this time, your head just has to be full of good stories waiting to be written!! Surely you have had enough time to enjoy your family and other activities, and feel a burning desire to get to writing another book or two (or three).Your legions of fans would certainly enjoy it!!
Debby L posts on 10/28/2009 3:40:22 PM I am fairly new to Lavyrle Spencer. I read Small Town Girl and I was hooked. My next book was November of the Heart. I cried through that book and was very sad when it ended. I didn't want the book to end. Is there perhaps a sequel regarding their son Danny? Then Came Heaven was my next book. I was so happy how two people can come together and love each other. I then read Bygones. It was very good how a family can come back together. It's not my favorite book though. I just started Morning Glory last night and was instantly hooked. I can't put the book down. I feel pretty confident that all her books are heart wrenching. She is the best author I have ever read.
Jane R. posts on 10/20/2009 5:49:59 PM I would absolutely LOVE to see Bittersweet as a movie. Perhaps cast Kevin Costner as Eric. It would great to watch at Christmas time. Thank you LaVyrle for all of the enjoyment in reading your books.
