i just read the second book now i ordered to read the first i have to agree with everyone that the book is awsome. lorna freeman is my favorite author now plus my first favorite author and i can't wait till next book come out and can't wait when i get the first part of the book

My dad borrowed this book from a friend. I'm a monster reader (I devour every book in sight) but I thought that adults had no taste in fantasy. I'm so glad I gave Covenants a chance. I got my hands on the second the instant I could. It's truly one of the best book series I have ever read. I think I speak for everyone whose posted when I say,if you're reading this, Lorna Freeman, Please write more. A lot more.

I loved the first book and thought the second was less than stellar. Here's to hopeing the third book is as great as the first.

Amazon has the new book up on its site. It's called Shadows Past and will be out October 2.

These books are great! I recommend them to all... but the whole love interest idea... nooooo! no love interest! I think the book is getting along quite nicely without Rabbit having a love interest.
;_; I really don't romance stuff.. but hey, that's just my opinion.
By the way, does anyone have the slightest clue as to when the next book will be out?

lorna freeman is one of my all time favorite authors. I just started re-reading the first book for about the 5th time now.
I was tryig to find out about further novels and see if there was a way to contact the author. I would really love to write her and let her know how much I love her novels. I don't suppose anyone knows a way to contact this author. I wish she had a web page. I hate not knowing when the next books are coming out. i just hope it is soon. I read the second book and I didn't like it as much as the first one...i was dissappointed captin suiden didn't have a bigger appearence. I love how he's all mother hen towards rabbit. you just have to love rabbit. It is so hard to find a character who just seems to have such an innocence about him. It's so enduring..and he is such a nice character. There is just something very charming about rabbit that makes him one of my all time favorite characters.
I advise everyone to try this book...covenants if you haven't all ready. It is truly a phenomenal read.

I also wondered briefly about a love interest for Rabbit, but now I'm thinking it won't happen for quite a while. I suspect being part elf and mage, his life span will be quite long. This hasn't been stated in the books, but seems likely.What I'd really like to see is Rabbit getting really angry. I loved that bit when he threw everyone out of his soul and said he wouldn't share it with anyone!

First of all, don't get me wrong, I think this series is excellent!! I have only one tiny problem with it. I would like to see Rabbit have a little more control over his life. It sort of seems like his life is going so fast, and he is only along for the ride. Can't he be in control ow and then? And while I'm at it, a love interest would be nice?

I have read both of the books and continue to re-read them. These are the only books that I have read more than two times. I hope that there will be more books about Rabbit and Laurel. The characters are so true to life and so funny. Please keep writing about them.
