kelly carlson posts on 7/13/2008 3:01:12 PM i have just read your first two books and i really enjoyed them. i am a foster child that had the chance to finish growing up with my family. my mom was an alcoholic and she neglected us and our needs. But when they placed us it opened up her eyes and gave her a second chance to be a loving parent. Later on in life my little sister tried to abuse the foster care system by using to get out of the house hold when she couldn't get things her way . Thank god the judge seen what she was doing and did place her in a foster home but it was a very strict home. and in the long run my sister realized that that is there to help the children that really need that home inviroment. to help them and there familys in times of great need. i applaud you for your strangth in getting threw every obstical that was put in front of you. i am now a happy mother of 7 children 6 boys and 1 girl and i am doing my best to make sure they get everything that they need and diserve. THANK YOU DAVID for being the one to stand up and say HEY

PJ posts on 6/29/2008 11:37:38 PM Dear Dave, i just finished 'a child called it' and i cant wait to get back to borders to get the other 2. i regreted not buying the whole 3 in 1 - my story .... but now .... i have no second thoughts ... i am going back to borders to get the 3 in 1 my story even though i have bought the first sequence of a child called it. i couldnt put the book down and felt so pain with the suffering you went through. i wish i could be the superwoman to save you from the nightmare you went through but i am glad that you kept to your promise to be the kind of person you are today .... you made y our way through and came out of that painful life. working with abused kids, how wonderful would it be IF all the other abused victims have the determination to change their life like how u did ... i pray that there will be other abused victims to have the kind of determination and luck to fight their way to a better life like you did .... cheers ....
Shenice posts on 6/25/2008 8:45:01 PM Hello Mr Pelzer, First of all I would like to say that I am very proud of you. Everything you have had to endure in your life espescially as a child and came out as a survivor. After reading A child called 'it' I have to admit i had cried right through the whole book then went on to read The Lost Boy and A man named Dave. I am so happy you have found happiness and most of love in your life. I am now reading your book The Privilege of youth. I wish you all the best David and best wishes to Stephen and Marsha. God Bless you.

I hope you are living the most happiest life you could have now that your mother is gone. Just a few questions. Are you still in touch with her? If so do you know why she was that way? And also did your father come back to help you? PLEASE WRITE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
