Dan Cory posts on 12/16/2006 7:55:15 PM Dave I had an opportunity to attend a speech you had given in Muskegon,Michigan a few years back. Needless to say it was unbelievable and inspiring. After your presentation, I stood in line to talk to you, but you had another engagement and had to leave. I just wanted to let you know that I work as a Juvenile Probation Officer and your books have inspired myself and my coworkers. As a result of your books and your inspiration, I continue to be more vigilant in my daily interaction with delinquent youth to look for signs of abuse and report it to protective services as warranted. Thank you again...on a personal note I also served in the Air Force (83-87).
Taylor posts on 12/14/2006 10:19:33 PM thank you dave for everything that you have taught through your books. it has really helped. i've done reports one your past life and i've learned alot. thanks again.
Trish posts on 12/14/2006 10:18:55 AM I personally have never been through the things you've been through. I couldn't even image what I'd do in your situation, but when I heard about your books I thought they'd be interesting so I've read A Child Called 'IT' and A Man Named Dave and I've got to tall you, you're unbelieveable. The things you've been through are not only horrible but so true. So many kids these days are going through similar things that you went through. Through out your books there was only one thing I wanted to know, WHAT HAPPEND TO YOUR MOTHER? I always wondered why you didn't talk bad about her. I know that most people that were put in your position would talk so much trash about that person that could have ruined there life but in my opinion you should always try to be better than that person. I'm sure that there are houndreds, thousands of kids, teachers, and maybe even parents that have been inspired by your words, possibly changed them in a good way... Thank You. You're well appreciated.

Melissa posts on 12/12/2006 9:57:06 AM As hard as it is, I can understand how you forgave the people who hurt you most. I hope they, nor anyone else can ever hurt you that bad again, I don't think you'll allow it quite frankly. You're an inspiration to many abused or not. I wish you a life full of hapiness and love , we all know how much you deserve it. I will pray for you tonight. Mel , Windsor, ON CANADA.

Ady C posts on 12/6/2006 8:16:54 PM Mr. Pelzer I have just started working for the division of youth and family services in the state of New Jersey and your story is very inspirational. I hope to make a difference and help protect children from experiencing anything traumatic as what you have experienced. You are an extraordinary man because you were able to forgive those who have caused you so much hurt.
