angela arnone posts on 11/6/2008 8:40:59 PM I just want to commend you for becoming such a strong loving father who treasures his children. Im a parent of 2 beautiful daugters who were secretly being hurt by their dads girlfriend and I thank God that they are as well adjusted as they are and are honor students. My oldest daughter who is 16 has a 2 month old baby boy and I look at the innocence in both of their eyes and wonder how anyone can hurt such a beautiful thing, that bein the innocence of a child. Again, i want to commend you on becoming so wonderful an d overcoming so much in life. God bless you always kind sir.
Kayla Beale posts on 11/3/2008 5:31:22 AM Dear David, Wow what an inspiration to all. Your books should be something every parent to be should legally have to read before becoming parents! Every line I read of all your books I cried a new tear for the pain you would have felt, for the hurt in your heart, for the need of help that no-one gave and everytime you heard your mother move. I really don't understand how any person could do such a thing to a child. I cried because I personally couldn't be there to protect you. The strength you built within yourself is amazing. I don't have any children yet, after reading your book I will cherrish every single day with them, wipe every tear they cry and with no doubt protect them from any harm! Good on you DAVID PELZER. With love and respect xx

trish41766@yahoo.com posts on 10/29/2008 6:04:27 PM Jeff, C'mon this man is no liar nor is he phony. He is as real as the day is long. Outside of reading his books and posting judgment upon him, have you physically heard him speak or have you spoke directly to him? I have and he is a true inspiration to everyone espeically those that are dealing with the aftermath of abuse. He has permnant scarring from his mother buring his arm, he has scars to show where he was stabbed by his mother, he has emotional scarring that he fights with everyday of his life. Any form of abuse and to any extent whether it be as a child or an adult is wrong. Nobody but David knows the horrific acts that were cast upon him as a child by his parent nor does it matter - for him this is real and in his mind this is what he lived and God bless him for Sharing his story. Nobody can call him a phony or a liar because you don't know what he went through as a child and God knows what physical and emotional trauma can do to your mind. He spoke about is his mother quite often during his seminar and he doesn't hold her accountable since she too was abused as a child and turned psycho because of it. So if this is what David remember's as a child who are you to that it didn't happen. But just remember the state doesn't take children and place them in foster care unless there is something awfully bad happening to them.

Mary-Anne posts on 9/14/2008 5:28:50 PM I have just finished reading all three of your books. I commend you in writing these, as they are helpful to others, so that they know that they are not alone. My 13 year old daughter is reading them now and is shocked that this had happened. I wish you all the best in your endeavours and congratulate you on writing about your experience and how you began a better person and did not let it ruin your life.
