Christina Crawford Message Board

PAM posts on 12/26/2008 8:13:32 PM Christina doesn't ever get involved in these "He said-She said...Is it true discussions???" She knows what she lived, and also knows there will always be Crawford fans who will never want to believe that the idol would be capable of such behavior. She thinks I'm nuts to bother responding to this, but she didn't tell me not to. So I do.
RF posts on 12/25/2008 11:44:59 AM I was wondering why Christina did not write about the twin siblings - at least it wasn't in the movie - I haven't read the book. Regarding Rachel - sometimes people are in denial and can't see the horror of something because then they would have to get in touch with their own feelings about their parents. That would be too terrifying to some. Rachel - I hope you're not a parent.
tracy costa posts on 12/25/2008 5:22:12 AM I was wonderfing if anyone who purchased the 30th anniversary of Mommie Dearest was as disappointed as I was with this latest edition. I thought more would of been added from Christina regarding her late brother and new photos of her as a child rather than just photos of herself from her book covers. Also, since Pam says she is a good friend of Christina why is Christina herself not responding to this message board?

Rachel posts on 12/24/2008 8:03:46 PM I don't blame her for not speaking to either of them. If it was me it would have been longer if I had kids like that.
Anonymous posts on 12/23/2008 7:32:32 PM She tried Rachel. She didn't speak to Christina or Christopher for about 5 years before she died. Some mother.
Michael posts on 12/22/2008 4:48:25 PM Yeah, it's ok to beat the heck out of your kids with a canister of dutch cleanser and a wire hanger and still be called a good parent.
Rachel posts on 12/22/2008 2:37:32 PM O.k what you said may be true but, it dosn't make me like Joan any less as the movie star or in real life. And I still can't stand Christina. I think she's a spolid brat.
PAM posts on 12/20/2008 11:08:52 PM No I was not there. I was too young. However my mother, and quite a few of her show business friends were frequent visitors to the home on North Bristol. It was common knowledge among them, and most everyone in the industry what went on in that house. I've read vile letters written in Joan Crawford's handwriting to Christina that would make you sick!
Rachel posts on 12/20/2008 2:25:32 PM It's very easy to write a book and make things up or exagerate a little. You may believe or but I don't. I believe Joan wasn't the best parent but she tried and loved her kids.
