I just ordered a copy of the highly anticipated, Strange Fate. I went to a site called Waterstone's on the internet. The book is now called Strange Date. I had to type in the ISBN which is 0671014781. The book popped up on screen and I ordered it today.

Strange Fate is apparently due to be published in the UK on 2 November 2006. From what it looks like, they are republishing all the Nightworld books with new covers in the UK, and Strange Fate is among them. If you check out blackwell books in the uk, you can check up on that. First I heard 19 October, but the site says 2 November now. It does NOT look (unfortunately) that they will be released in the States. I live in Poland, so if I find out it is there, I might make a weekend trip to London and go pick it up. I know we're all pretty frustrated--9 years is a LONG time to wait. I remember feeling panicked when I couldn't find it back then when it was supposed to be released. Good luck all. I will post again if I find anything else out.

I know Thi; plus the fact that there is all the cafuffle about before/after the millenium and/or the extracts for each book. Never mind the fact that there was rumours of each book being changed. I think waiting and having no expectations of Strange Fate is the best thing to do :)

i know this might not be relevant, but strangefate is also available for pre-order in australia at dymocks. i too have decided to wait until then to make sure its release before putting too much hope in it. i also have waited 9 years for this book and heard there was more to come. cross my fingers and hope its as good as the others. thats one of my worries: that strangefate might not live up to the hype, you know?

Book Three is called The Fury. You could get it from Amazon; the prices range from really low to extremely high, but make sure there is a pic; err there are quite afew more but i would give that a try first :)

does anyone have or know where i can get a copy of LJ smith 3rd book in the Vampire Diaries series--The Fear? Pls Advise!!

I'm not interested in reading a new version of the Vampire Diaries. They weren't even my favourite books of hers. I just want to see Strange Fate released. Not that it's likely to ever happen. It looked like it would be such a good story too. :(

I think I have been waiting nine years as well. I love the Night World series so much I think I will always keep waiting and I am sorry to say this, but judging by the letter L.J Smith sent to Cassie, she seems more pre-occupied with re-writing the Vampire Diaries than Strange Fate. There are alot of contradictory information saying she has/has not written Strange Fate and it has/has not been published. I have waited this long. Take Care xxx

Now look what you all did. You went and got me all hopeful again!=)if it did come out on November 2 I would be so happy it wouldnt even matter that i've been waiting for like 9 years for it. 9 years guys. that's a long time to wait for the final book in a series. Has it ever happened before? I can't think of any other book or author that this has happened.
