I am 77 years old, I started reading the twilight series but I must admit that Vampire Diaries and Night world surpass, they are by far the better book. I am looking forward to the sequel to both series. Who ever thought a senior citizen would love reading about vanpires,

Hi, L.J Smith. i absalutly LOVE your books. you inspired me to write my own books about vampires, my favorite of all the creepy creatures. my favorite series was the night world books. i loved Ash and Mary-Lynnette. And Jez and Morgead! Your books are so romantic and scary! that's why i love them! you CRUSH twilight right into the ground. sorry, if i hurt those twilight fans, but i am just NOT one of them! L.J. Smith ALL THE WAY!!!

hi, i love your books they are so romantic and scary at the same time. My mom gave me her books from when she was little. when I finised 1-4 of vampire diaries, I went to a book store till I found "the return". i love your books I wish they would go on forever.

According to L.J. smith's site ljanesmith.net she is working on Strange Fate Night world 10, even though there is no solid release date yet it is being written so it will be comming out. as to whether there will be more Nightfall books, the site doesn't say, but it gives an email addy for L.J. so you might even be able to write her and ask her. (the site sez it may take awhile 4 her to get to each letter but that she does try to get to them all. In the meantime if your desperate for L.J. Smith I'd recommend reading the new Damon trilogy book the vampire diaries:the return: nightfall, I really enjoyed it even though it was pretty different from the first 4.

Well everyone, The Vampire Diaries 5 titled The return:nightfall came out on Feb. 10th. I had to go all over town to get my copy, but it was soooo sooo good. I'ts a total page turner, edgier than the first 4 but it takes off right where they left off. I flat out could not close it until I was done. I think i read every bit of it within a 10 hour sitting. Did anyone else get a chance to scoop it up yet?
