Andrea posts on 10/7/2009 11:29:17 AM I am trying to find a book for a friend. She said thre name of the book is The Christmas Cottage, by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer. All I can find is a movie. Thanks
SaraA posts on 9/17/2009 11:21:31 PM Home for Christmas is by Jo Ann Brown based on the screenplay of the movie The Christmas Cottage, which is based on Thomas Kinkade's painting and his life. I saw the book in a bookstore about a year ago, but it didn't capture my interest. In addition to November's A Christmas Wish, another new book by Kinkade and Spencer will be The Inn at Angel Island - April 2010. Interesting title. I wondered if they'd ever switch up from the seemingly now permanent Christmas Cape Light books. I enjoy reading the books, but I was hoping for something different as they BOTH seem to be good writers. I take it from each book's introduction that Kinkade is a co-author of the books. He certainly makes himself sound as such at least.

Pearl posts on 8/24/2009 3:27:53 PM Bev - I, too, wish they'd come out with a series on Hallmark. Except that things wouldn't look like they do in my imagination! (smile)
bev posts on 8/15/2009 4:01:36 PM I think the Cape Light Series would be a great one the Hallmark Channel. I have enjoyed Janet Oke's Love Come Softly series on Hallmark. Would love to see Kinkade's and Spencer's series turned into movies.
Peal posts on 7/30/2009 11:31:09 PM J-Bo, Sorry I didn't reply sooner. For some reason, I no longer receive email notifications when new posts are added to this site. In my excitement about the next book in the series, I listed the title incorrectly. Book #10 is called A WISH FOR CHRISTMAS. It will be coming out on 11/03/09, but you can pre-order it on Amazon. Sorry for the confusion! Pearl
Betty Lewis posts on 7/28/2009 10:04:37 AM i have read 3 books in the series. How many are there? I enjoy the Thomas Kinkade and Spencer books very much. Thank you, Betty
RoseMarie Herdman posts on 7/27/2009 11:39:32 PM TThis summer i was given the BookNew Leaf- what a joy so I went to library and found the whole series of Cape Light. It made my summer- such fabulous series- Am now on the Christmas set. I live in Southington, Ct. and just reading about places in Mass. where I have two children- makes it even more special. God bless both Kinkade and spencer for books that touch the inner soul and leave us with such renewed minds and spirts. A Place to retreat and find peace.
J-Bo posts on 7/15/2009 9:16:06 PM The Christmas Cottage is on Amazon as a DVD. I found a book by that name as well, but it's not by Thomas KinKade, it's by another author and is not part of the Cape Light series. If I am wrong, please provide a link to the book as I would love to have it.
Pearl posts on 6/4/2009 5:08:25 PM For those asking whether The Christmas Cottage is a book or a DVD. Turns out it's both! The book is listed on Amazon. I'm sure the DVD is, as well. Happy Reading!
