Lisa posts on 2/1/2008 10:27:58 AM Hey Gwenz. Do you remember how The Last Vampire series ended? Well, if you don't, it was about a neg. and pos. harvest. Sita had to fix it because it was out of balance. Well I found out that Sita's name means Goddess of the Harvest in Hindi. I think that it neat. So I guess C.P. intended for her story to end that way the whole time, which is very interesting. To me anyway. I just thought that you would like to know! Let me know what you think of FALLING! Its so weird because C.P. is on-line right now! Amazing.
gwenz posts on 1/31/2008 11:30:35 PM Hi Lisa I'm from Australia so is Amy_Lee sadly Pike's books aren't stocked in our stores at all anymore. You can order them in but it costs a lot. I'm rapt I preordered Falling and they emailed me saying I had a credit as they dropped the price to just over $11 Australian for it, it's released tomorrow so I should have it in about a week. So rapt I found the online site that stocks his books. I have just sat this week and re-read Weekend and Scavenger Hunt and they are so similar but I totally loved reading them again. That's the things with his books you really can re-read them every couple of years and learn something new.
Lisa posts on 1/30/2008 12:43:16 PM Hey Gwenz! Thanks for answering my question. I was just wondering where everyone is from, because you talk about getting all C.P.'s books & that they cost ALOT of money. I've had FALLING in hardcover since it came out (almost a year ago, March 2007) & I got it for like $15.00 at Wal-mart. I can also get a bunch of books that you guys can't seem to get! It just boggles my mind. I am from Buffalo, NY. USA. I am 26 yrs. old. I've been reading C.P. for over 10 yrs. & I Love him as much as you guys do! Well thanks again. I hope you like FALLING as soon as you can get a copy!!!!

gwenz posts on 1/27/2008 5:51:31 PM Hi Lisa, no it wasn't turned into a movie. I never heard it was to be. One was but for the life of me I can't think of it. I know Amy_Lee will probably know as her and I used to talk of it. Alosha is being turned into a film at present, the script is being written & I know that will be a hit given the right actors, finance. I pre-ordered Falling from fishpond, it's released paper back in just over a week so I can't wait to read it & let you know what I think, gets fantastic reviews from fans and to me they are the ones I listen to as we all know Pike so well writing style wise and they say this is old Pike, so gosh I'm looking forward to it.
Lisa posts on 1/25/2008 4:43:36 AM I am new to this site...just wondering if anyone has heard that Christopher Pike's book: "Chain Letter" was going to be turned into a movie? Did that ever happen? Or is it still going to happen?? I thought maybe it was the movie "Fear.com" but then I really didn't think so....Please let me know!! Thanks.
gwenz posts on 1/20/2008 3:36:34 AM Hey Amy_Lee how's things? I will def look out for them, just checked into them, they sound great. Sounds like a great read. I found an online book shop fishpond.com.au Pikes Falling is listed on the last page of his lot of books for just over eleven dollars and postage just under six dollars no matter how many books you order if you order over fifty dollars postage is free def. worth buying from. Hope your holidays are brilliant, they go way too quickly for me.
Amy_Lee posts on 1/16/2008 6:30:05 AM Hey gwenz how are you? i have just read the two most awesomest books ever since the Alosha series. They are by a author called James Maloney, The Book of Lies and the sequel to it called Master of the Books. If you loved Alosha which i am sure you enjoyed as much as i did, you will love these two books. It is similar to Alosha as far as fantasy goes but has a Harry Potter theme to it. Check it out you will not be disappointed. After i read the first one i had to buy it and the sequel haha! Cheers
gwenz posts on 12/22/2007 6:07:29 AM Falling will be released in paperback Feb 08 for US $8 I think that's a must have Amy Lee we'd have it on our money with postage from Amazon for approx. $18 look forward to that one. Have a great Xmas

gwenz posts on 12/17/2007 7:42:25 PM Hey Amy_Lee let me know if he answers you. He normally does. I guess he's pretty busy with Alosha doing the script. Your right I think it will be better than Bridge to Terribithia although I loved that. I read he said the script is better than the book. Can't wait but like you I so want Nemi I think I should re-read the other three. I actually found several of his books at my sisters over the weekend can't wait to read them all. So busy with Xmas. Have a great Xmas I probably won't be on again this year so busy. So glad you got to read the first three books.
